Chad Downsouth is a pioneering music production service based in South London, focusing on community and collaboration.
I’m Chad Downsouth, a producer and artist from South London. Growing up surrounded by different sounds, I developed an eclectic and inspiring taste in music that continues to shape my production today.
I started making beats in 2014 using Cubase Elements before switching to FL Studio 12 in 2016. With a pair of reference speakers, a £20 audio interface, and my bedroom as the studio, I began crafting my own sound — raw, soulful, and true to where I’m from.
My first major placement came in 2019 on Nwi Paris’s single “Sideways,” where I curated the melody used in the track. Since then, I’ve been growing my presence across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, consistently creating, sharing, and connecting with listeners and other artists.
In 2025, I produced Dide’s single “Realer,” continuing to refine my style and expand my sound. As an artist, I’ve released my own singles, starting with “Don’t Ruin It” featuring Antzz and Tenacity (now over 1,000 Spotify streams), followed by “Stand 4” featuring DS Gryme (The Beat Farda).
I’ve also dropped two full instrumental albums — Southside Baby Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 — both available on all streaming platforms. The Southside Baby series represents my roots, my journey, and the vibe that drives me forward.
I’m focused on building a loyal fan base and helping other creators through collaboration, shared knowledge, and community. This is just the beginning — there’s a lot more music, energy, and growth to come.
